The Solar Panel
The 1.75kW (1750W) Plug-in Solar kit is supplied with 7 x 250W MCS certified solar panels. Each solar panel has a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty and a 25 year 80% power performance guarantee.
The 1.75kW (1750W) Plug In Solar Kit is supplied with G98 certified Dual Micro-Inverters, along with some MC4 Sealing Caps The Micro-Inverter converts direct current (DC) produced by the solar panels into alternating current (AC) for use in your home. As such, it forms the heart of the DIY Plug In Solar Kit. The Dual Micro-Inverter has a 10 year manufacturer guarantee, with the option to extend to 25 years.
The Flat Roof Mount Kit
The 1.75kW (1750W) Plug In Solar Kit is supplied with 7 x Renusol Console Tubs, which support the modules, allow ballasting (gravel, paving slabs, bricks, rocks etc) and are non-penetrative. The Renusol Consoles are fixed at 15 degrees and can be fitted on the ground, or on flat roofs with a pitch of up to 5 degrees. These are warrantied for 10 years.
The Plug-In Solar Connection Unit
The 1.75kW (1750W) Plug In Solar Kit includes a Plug-In Solar Connection Unit, which is used to connect the solar to the mains grid. The solar can be connected as part of a ring main, as a spur from a ring main or on their own radial circuit. The switch ensures the solar can be isolated from the rest of the grid if necessary.
All components within the Plug In Solar kit comply fully with the BS, CE, G98 requirements and have MCS certifications, where applicable.
