We are seeing significant stock delays of our Plug-In Solar DIY Kits as a result of huge demand and freight issues into the UK.
Due to such high demand and low stock levels, we may have to slightly change the standard equipment in our kits in order to fulfil quotes/orders for our customers. We will always get agreement and approval from you before shipping any equipment.
If you are interested in any of our Plug In Solar DIY Kits, or any other products you can make an enquiry via our Contact Page or via email [email protected]
Due to such a high volume of enquiries and orders we are unable to undertake system designs or consultations for our customers. However if you need a bespoke quotation (e.g panel and inverter upgrades), there will be a 7-10 day lead time for these quotations.
We thank you for your patience and understanding at this busy time.
The chancellor announced that from the 1st April there will be a VAT reduction on installed Solar Panels down from 5% to 0% VAT.The VAT drop is not something that affects us as a retailer, or you as a customer, as we are Supply Only. The VAT is on the cost of the installation of Solar panels, not the supply. The key word in the literature is ‘installed’.
Not all products or installations qualify for the reduced 5% rate (soon to be 0%) and you cannot buy or install them yourself. You can see more information on the Government Website related to this. The 5% current rate is the one being dropped, so this does not affect anything we sell, and we have to charge 20% VAT on everything we sell.
