Enphase IQ Gateway Metered (Envoy) – with 2 x CT Clamps

The Enphase IQ Gateway Metered (Envoy) is an integral component of the Enphase Microinverter System. It operates between the Enphase Microinverters and the Enphase Enlighten web-based monitoring and analysis software. The Envoy-S monitors the microinverters that are connected to the PV modules.

It collects energy and performance data from the inverters over on-site AC power lines and then forwards the data to Enlighten to give statistical data on how a solar PV system is performing. For guidance on installation please read the InstallationSheet.

Enphase IQ Gateway Metered (Envoy) –  This model has all the functionality of the IQ Gateway Standard (Envoy) but includes a built in meter and allows CT clamp connection. This makes it’s output power tracking more accurate and allows property power consumption data to be visualised on the monitoring. It also allows the system to be “battery ready”, meaning that all sensing hardware is already in place so Enphase battery modules can be added easily in future.

CT clamp cable length approx 3.8m.  The Consumption CT can be extended up to 200M with the correct type of cable.  It is not recommended to extend the Production CT Clamp.
